Is My Medical Bill Too High?
A free 2-minute screener that tells you whether you have what's needed to check — before you spend anything.
Most patients can't tell whether a medical bill is accurate just by looking at it — you need to compare it against your insurer's Explanation of Benefits line by line. This screener doesn't do that comparison itself. It answers a simpler question first: do you already have what you'd need to find out, or is something missing?
What this screener checks
The Bill Screener asks three quick questions about the paperwork you have — the provider bill and the matching statement from your insurer, often called an Explanation of Benefits. It doesn't compare any dollar amounts and it doesn't ask you to upload anything. It exists purely to answer one question: is a real review worth paying for yet?
- ✓Anyone who just received a medical bill
- ✓Caregivers managing a parent's bills
- ✓Anyone unsure if they even have enough to check
- ✓Confirm you have the right paperwork before paying for a review
- ✓Find out exactly what document is still missing
- ✓Decide between a one-time review and an ongoing membership
